Excellent product - did exactly what I wanted it to, which was identify quickly the culprits on our network that were using all the disk space!

Made hard drive clean-up easier Folder Size was a useful product for helping me clear out old and unwanted files from my hard drive. The ability to clearly show the total size of a folder and all of its subfolders helped me quickly identify where there was substantial bloat, the bolding of the two largest folders within each also sped this process. My quarterly disk cleanup got about 6 gigs of files I would otherwise have missed because I did not know that Vista placed files there.

nearly perfect fo my needs Needed to rationalise my backup arrangements (you do eventually run out of space!) and found the Folder Size a useful tool in planning and arranging a revised organisation. Would appreciate the option to "update all" to review impact of changes made without having to close, re-open and access all the drives again. The printout option is very useful, as is the function to review "newest, oldest, etc".

Great - except for............ Great product & very easy to use, except for one point. Why does every item in the directory you are saving (or printing) have inverted commas (""). If there was a way round this I would certainly buy the Full Version.

Missing Basic feature It doesn't list hidden and system files.

Folder Marker performed exactly as described and allowed me to colour code folders in Windows ME quickly and efficiently. A very useful enhancement to my system.

The free version does not seem to allow me to color code my file folder icons, which is all I really wanted to do.

Tried it and works. The drawback is human memory that may not remember the colour codes, and it takes more work to change the progress folder markers. It is nice to play with, but not really efficient for work and performance.

Good enough but needs a better user interface In my opinion this useful software needs a more sophisticated user interface to gain satisfaction and usability level improvements.First of all the interface should reflect changes user does directly on the file system such as when deleting a folder through Windows Explorer.In second instance I would suggest some tree organization when showing data. Directory Report Review I wanted to print the directory structure of one of our internal installation CD-ROMs in a tree format. The only option I found so far didn't allow me to out put it in the format I'm uses to. I ususally create the txt file from a tree comand in DOS but couldn't out put hidden folders. I thought I would try your application because it also advertised functionality to use check sums for comparison of data. That would be helpful if I can figure out how to do it. folder locks very good to use and store secret files in computers

This is a fascinating program and it does exactly what it says on the tin. If there is any drawback it is that the folders don\'t always want to play ball in as much as they don\'t change colour straight away, you have to do a bit of tweaking, but this does not distract from a good and original program

I downloaded your program hoping that I could change the folder colour within Outlook 2007. I am sorry to say that it appears to work only for windows folders!! I will leave it for few more days to see if I receive any reply to my original message otherwise it is not of great interest. If it worked with Outlook then I might even pay for it!
